RERUNS AND RECONSIDERATIONS.
These are things that didn't see too much daylight their first go-round. Some of them are spoken-word pieces, never intended for print, some of them are essentially unavailable (magazines with tiny circulations, out of print anthologies, etc.), some were edited beyond recognition, stillborn, or killed after delivery, and some just never were published (in some of these cases, the reasons for their failure -- imaginative or otherwise -- are pretty clear in hindsight, while in others I remain as mystified as I may have been at the time). As far as the heretofore-unpublished stuff is concerned, I'm selecting only things that don't embarrass me (much). Still, time has definitely left its imprint on many of them (certainly as far as my ongoing self-evaluation is concerned), and I'm perfectly happy for now to let this be their one and only showcase.
I'll probably add and remove content from time to time. I've included some commentary with each to provide some context.
